“Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” is a 100% ОАО Gazprom subsidiary.

“Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC” was established in 1984 by Decree of Ministry of gas industry of the Soviet Union. The Company had been called «Yamburggazdobycha» until January 29, 2008.

The share of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” in the total gas production of Gazprom accounts for 40%, 34 % in Russian, and some 10% in total global gas production. In 2007 the Company produced over 222 bcm of gas and over 1,5 mln of gas condensate.

“Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” owns licenses for the development of five fields: Yamburgskoye, Zapolyarnoye, Tazovsky, Yuzhno-Parusovoye and Severo-Parusovoye (the last three are being prepared for development).

The core business of the Gazprom subsidiary is gas and gas condensate production, its processing, geological prospecting works, construction and development of new gas, gas condensate and oil fields, their operation.

Moreover “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC” is involved in heat - and electric power production for own needs.

The subsidiary of OAO Gazprom provides itself with technological communication and automated control systems.

 “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” develops and implements progressive production technologies, carries out design and survey works, construction, reconstruction and maintenance of auto roads and traffic installations.

Also the subsidiary of ОАО Gazprom carries on freight and rotational passenger transportation.

The paramount objective of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC” is gas and gas condensate production. The Yamburgskoye and Zapolyarnoye fields operated by the Company are among the largest in the world.

The history of the Company started with the development of the Yamburgskoye field. Its initial reserves are 6.9 trln cubic meters of gas and 116 mln tons of gas condensate. Over 60 % of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC” output is produced at the Yamburgskoye field but maximum production in its central part is in the past. Currently peripheral areas of the field are being intensively developed.

 In December 2005 the Aneryakhinskaya area was brought to its design capacity of 10 bcm of gas per year.A year later comprehensive gas treatment unit № 9 of the Kharvutinskaya area was put into operation. Its design output is 18 bcm per year.

On November 1, 2007 the gas pre-treatment plant № 10 was launched. It enabled to boost gas production over by 8 bcm.  The total output of the Aneryakhinskaya and Kharvutinskaya areas of the Yamburgskoye field will reach 40 bcm of gas per year.

In 2001 the Zapolyarnoye field was put into operation. On October 1st, 2001 «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» commissioned the largest in the world comprehensive gas treatment unit, design capacity of which is 35 bcm. Thus first gas was pumped from the Zapolyarnoye field into central gas transmission trunk lines of the country. Commissioning of the Zapolyarnoye field enabled to stop gas production decline in Russia. 100 bcm of gas per year are transported from the Zapolyarnoye field to the Unified Gas Supply System (UGSS) of Russia since 2004.

In 2007 first wells of the Neocomian deposit of the Zapolyarnoye field were drilled. In the near term “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC” is scheduled to commission two comprehensive gas treatment units.

“Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC” independently carries out geological prospecting works, annually allotting some EUR 95 mln on theses purposes. Only over five recent years the Gazprom subsidiary managed to increment reserves over 450 mln tons of oil equivalent, including 447 bcm of gas. The Company geologists discovered Yuzhno- and Severo-Parusovoye fields and 17 gas, oil and gas condensate deposits.

“Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC” has been a testing site for new technical solutions since its formation. Application of such know-how in production process as an open hole drilling-in, secondary drilling-in, stationary gas dynamic researches, stabilizers of plastic permafrost soils enables to increase gas and condensate yield, decrease air emissions into the atmosphere.

Innovative solutions based on IT-technologies are actively used in the Company’s production and management operation.  This embraces the creation of geoinformation systems as well as implementation of integrated multi-level information and technological process management system at the Kharvutinskaya area which is the prototype of prospective unmanned technologies as well as implementation of information-management system of financial reporting my SAP ERP 2005 and electronic document management.

Following the principles of sustainable development “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC” is guided by keeping balance between economic, environmental and social objectives in all the aspects of activity. Environmental management is a constituent part of the whole system of management of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” activity. The Gazprom subsidiary implements Environmental Management System established by standard system GOST ISO 14000:1998. Annually the Company spends over EUR 110 mln on environmental protection and environmental payments.

Scales of production operation of Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” are commensurate with the amount of its social obligations to its employees and region. Annually the Company spends over 2 billion rubles on the improvement of the quality life of employees, over RUB 120 mln on charity and sponsorship activity. The Company experience in implementation of priority national projects “Affordable housing” and “Health care” deserves attention.

Implementation of “Gazprom to Children” Program is the important social investment of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg”. Annually the Company holds charitable actions “To Young Sportsmen”, “Investment into the Future”, “Create Good”, “Youth Employment”, “Support of Talented Youth”, “We Construct the Future Together”, “For Healthy Way of Life”, “Summer Rest”, “To Children of Tundra” and others.

“Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” constructed and commissioned pipeline Gaz-Sale - Tazovsky 28 km in length. Investments into construction of road from the Novozapolyarnoye settlement to the Tazovsky settlement which was commissioned in 2006 made over RUB 7 bln. The local populations call it «the road of life».

Charitable  programs in the domain of education, aid to veterans, support of indigenous populations of the North give a clear evidence of  adherence of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” to human values.
