Traditional holidays of indigenous people of the North, Fisherman’s days were held for the first time this year at the trading post 5-6 Sands and in the village of Nakhodka of the Tazovsky region. The representatives of Gazprom dobycha Yamburg traditionally participated in these events as guests of the holiday.

The delegation of the gas producing company headed by deputy director general Vladimir Makarov brought presents to fishermen: a generator, an outboat motor, fisherman’s costumes, warm clothes, tents, binoculars and many other items necessary in everyday work of a fisherman.

The moto ship with the representatives of the Tazovsky region administration, performing artists and guests of the holiday left the center of the region on June 25. The following day it reached trading post 5-6 Sands which had been constructed for the fishermen of the Tazovsky region by Gazprom dobycha Yamburg. The holiday program consisted of tug of war and pulling of the stick, weight lifting, cross country race and also a concert and awarding prizes from Gazprom dobycha Yamburg. Similar holiday was held in the village of Nakhodka on June.

Soon the same holidays will be held in the village of Kutopyugan of the Nadym region, settlements Tazovsky, Antipayuta, Gyda and trading post Yuribey of the Tazovsky region. Gazprom dobycha Yamburg is going to take part in all these events traditionally.
