Gazprom dobycha Yamburg is a leading gas producing company within Gazprom Group.

Gas has become one of the environmentally friendly sources of heat and light for many countries of the world. Energy stability of Europe depends largely on development of gas industry in Russia.

The mission of Gazprom dobycha Yamburg is production and treatment of gas and gas condensate by the most effective and safety methods. Fulfilling this production goal the Company promotes social progress and welfare growth of the society, stable development of regions, improvement of the living standards of its employees.

Gazprom dobycha Yamburg produces some 40% of total Gazprom gas output and around one third of total gas shipped into the Unified Gas Supply System of Russia. The Company possesses the largest current balance reserves of natural gas. «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC» possesses 15 % of proven gas reserves of Russia and 52 % of operated deposits of the North of Tyumen region.

Gazprom dobycha Yamburg owns licenses for development of the Yamburgskoye, Zapolyarnoye, Tazovsky and Parusovoye group of fields.

There are two departments providing gas and gas condensate production. They are gas production and oil gas production departments. Gas production is carried out by means of 18 comprehensive gas treatment and pre-treatment units. Fifteen workshops of booster compressor stations of the first and the second stages are being operated at the Yamburgskoye field.

Gazprom dobycha Yamburg precisely realizes performance targets in gas and gas condensate production of OAO Gazprom which may be adjusted to world market conjuncture of gas consumption, climatic conditions and other factors. Annually the Company produces over 200 bcm of gas, 1, 5 tons of gas condensate.

In July 2009 the Company produced the forth trillion cubic meter of gas.
