Novozapolyarny is located The construction of the Novozapolyarny settlement began simultaneously with the development of the Zapolyarnoye field, it was carried out on the base of worked out and approved in Yamburg technologies. The Zapolyarnoye field is compact, is serviced only by three most powerful in the world facilities, therefore staff headcount does not exceed 4000 employees. Novozapolyarny resembles Yamburg by well planned constructions and clean streets, it is not its “duplicate”. The company employees get comfortable dwelling here at the level of European standards. However they are now manufactured not abroad but in Kaluga, and designed in Gazprom dobycha Yamburg. Residential complex of the shift settlement is varied. The pride of Novozapolyarny inhabitants is a module for 1000 beds. In its central administrative block there is a canteen, sport, fitness and assembly halls, computer class, shops. Besides this architectural giant ten dormitories for 188 beds have been constructed in the settlement. The first apartment house has been constructed for married couples. The infrastructure of Novozapolyarny as well as Yamburg fully meets social and cultural needs of the employees. Cultural-sport complex, administrative office, bakery, bath, laundry are being built in the settlement. In 2010 a new medical sanitary unit was opened in Novozapolyarny. The cutting edge ultrasonic, x-ray and endoscopic equipment enabled to improve the level of medical service considerably. The attraction of the settlement is a monument to Honored Construction Worker Andrey N. Bushuev. In 2010 archbishop of Tobolsk and Tyumen Dimitry visited the settlement. He consecrated the foundation stone in the place of the future church in honor of John metropolitan of Tobolsk and All Siberia the Wonderworker. Novozapolyarny is connected with two neighboring population centres Tazovsky and Novy Urengoy by means of motor roads.
