"Gazprom dobycha Yamburg" / Production / Prospects

To become the leader of world energy.

Alexey Miller, Chairman of Management Committee of OAO Gazprom, set a new strategic task- to become the leader in the world energy. « Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» will play an important role in implementation of this mission.

Inevitable growth of domestic economy, successful implementation of large-scale projects of OAO Gazprom, and efficiency of production and social policy of «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» provided shifting of the Company from stabilization to growth in all the business lines of its operation.

In the near term two comprehensive gas treatment facilities for developing Neocomian deposits of the Zapolyarnoye field— UKPG-2V, and then UKPG-1V are scheduled to be put into operation.

In the long term «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» plans to commence the development of the Obskaya Bay fields. First of all they are Kamennomysskoye and Severo-Kamennomysskoye fields. The critical decision that «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» will be its operator has been taken. Gas is forecasted to be transported from this field into the system of main pipelines of the Yamburgskoye field. Such a direction in the development of the Company will enable to develop a group of small fields on the shore of the Obskaya bay.

And in the longer term «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» plans to develop offshore and onshore in the Tazovsky Bay. Overall gas reserves of these fields are around 2 trillion cubic meters. Then – the Gydansky Peninsular. Probable gas reserves are around 9, 5 trillion cubic meters.

«Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» has obtained licenses for the development of Yuzhno-and-Severo-Parusovoye fields. They are located close to the Yamburgskoye field which is being developed.
