"Gazprom dobycha Yamburg" / Social responsibility / Regional policy«Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC», a Gazprom subsidiary, has been functioning in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous okrug since October 1984, conducts business on the territory of three municipal entities: –Nadym region; –Tazovsky region; –Novy Urengoy. «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» has accumulated a significant experience of collaborating with the local community. The Company carries out its activity in the domain of social and economic development of the local community in the frames of regional policy of ОАО Gazprom, in close cooperation with local and regional authorities and public organizations. This cooperation is constructive and what is not insignificant is enshrined in the agreements and memorandums. Gazprom and regions enter into cooperation agreements, in implementing of which all the subsidiaries participate. An Agreement of Cooperation between the Administration of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous okrug and Gazprom is signed every year and it covers a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation. And primarily it is aimed at strengthening traditionally partnership ties. The agreement stipulates reciprocal commitments in estate and production relations, capital construction, energy saving, environmental management and also in tax, price and social policy. It is necessary to note that Gazprom and its subsidiaries have been already fulfilling all their obligations over a period of several years. Annually «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» transfers tax and other payments to federal, regional and local budgets in due time and full scale. In 2007 tax payments of the Company accounted for 47 464 690 thousand rubles including: - to federal budget- 44 403 004 thousand rubles; - to regional budget- 2 986 575 thousand rubles; - to local budget- 75 031 thousand rubles; - to extrabudgetary funds - 80 thousand rubles. Municipal entity the Tazovsky region Pursuant the regional policy of Gazprom each subsidiary has its own region to render social aid. It is the Tazovsky region for «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg». In December, 2007 it was 15 years since our Company had started to cooperate with the region under the jurisdiction of which the Zapolyarnoye oil gas condensate field is located. First agreement of cooperation was signed in 1992. Over a decade and a half the authorities of our company and region have worked out optimal schemes of cooperation on which present constructive collaboration of the company and region is based. In addition to the Agreement between Gazprom and YaNAO our Company and the Tazovsky region entered into General Agreement of cooperation until 2010. Annually the parties conclude additional agreements stipulating definite lines of targeted assistance. Long before announcing priority national projects Health Care, Affordable Housing, Gasification «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» constructed a surgical complex in the Tazovsky settlement for 23 beds, 40-family dwelling house, which was transferred into ownership of the municipal entity in no expense. In company polyclinic of Yamburg equipped with the most cutting-edge facilities the tundra inhabitants are rendered medical services free of charge. Over 3 past years over 20 mln rubles were allocated to medical service of indigenous minorities of the North in medical-sanitary department of the company. The gas producing company constructed and commissioned gas pipeline Gaz-Sale - Tazovsky The Company has also constructed motor road Tazovsky – Gaz-Sale. In 2007 over 23 mln rubles were allocated for its maintenance. One of the recent major projects has become the construction of motor road Novozapolyarny – Tazovsky, which was named “the road of life” by the Head of the region. It was put into operation in All the charitable actions are held after the consultation with the authorities of okrug and region to make them more effective and topical. «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg LLC» traditionally promotes transportation support of nomad indigenous population, reindeer-breeder and fishing brigades: delivery of passengers and freight, carrying children from low-income families and orphaned children to the place of resort during their vacations. In 2007 the Company transported inventory items in the amount of circa 2 mln rubles. Annually the Company holds actions for tundra inhabitants, sponsors national holidays of the northern people, presenting the participants of the contests with gifts necessary in their activity from stoves to snowmobiles. Over three past years the Company presented inventory items in the amount of around 18 mln rubles to hold these holidays. Being aware that social and economic situation in agri-industrial sector remains tense, in 2005 the Company registered all the reindeer-breeder and fishing brigades of the Tazovsky region with the view to present each reindeer-breeder brigade with a snowmobile, and a fishing team with a motor boat and generators "Honda" and radio stations. 25 snowmobiles “Buran”,31 generators "Honda", 24 radio stations "Angara", 36 boats "Kazanka", 36 boat motors "Vikhr" were given to the brigades in 2005 - 2007. In 2007 the Company rendered corporate assistance to municipal enterprise "Tazovsky fish processing factory» in the amount of 5 mln rubles, 4 of which were allocated for construction of houses for fishermen, 1 mln for air-transport services. «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» allocates means for improvement of material and technical base of Gyda, Tazovsky and Antipayuta boarding schools, Tazovsky secondary school yearly. In 2007 году the Company transferred 3,9 mln rubles for acquisition of 4 computer classes. Every year «Gazprom dobycha Yamburg» renders assistance such as clothing, bed linen, holds action "New Year Gift", in the course of which over 2 thousand citizens of Tazovsky receive presents. Every year the Company transfers means for health improvement of children during summer holidays. In 2007 this sum including delivery to the place of resort made 1 mln 600 thousands rubles.
